Animal Health and Behavioural Science

Animals play a vital role in the society. Animal Health is the inter-link between humans, animals and the surrounding environment. Behavioural sciences explore the cognitive processes within organisms and the behavioural interactions between organisms in the natural world. It involves the systematic analysis and investigation of human and animal behaviour through the study of the past, controlled and naturalistic observation of the present, and disciplined scientific experimentation. The behavioural sciences include psychology, psychobiology, anthropology, and cognitive science. While the company, sport or work satisfy important needs in today's society, we should not overlook that the production of food of animal origin has been historically, and remains one of the fundamental pillars on which is based the Food. A Noteworthy economic importance of farming in our society, not to mention the environmental role of some species like honey bees. It is important for pets, zoo animals and farm animals to stay healthy. The health of animals defines the healthy and wealthy society. Healthy animals contribute to the elimination of hunger, to healthy people and to sustainable food production.
